Music was always present at home: my father, a flamenco guitar enthusiast, and my mother, a devoted lover of Black music, created an environment where falling in love with the music was almost inevitable. That’s also where my passion for Big Bands was born, with inspirations like Thad Jones or Maria Schneider along with other influences from different worlds like Bon Iver and Björk. This curiosity has led me to continue studying with musicians like Ed Partyka, and to regularly compose for the Andalucía Big Band, which I’ve been a part of since 2013.
I've also had the chance to explore film composition, creating original scores for short films like Recordar y 'Vidas por escribir', among other projects.
For me, music is a vital need, a constant journey... and here I share a small part of that path with you.
